Harry Potter Box Office Review

Harry Potter Box Office, a movie that you've probably waiting. The franchise has been big without fail, but the Harry Potter box office for Half Blood Prince is out to reach new higher levels. Well, Harry Potter aside from being shown has two main targets this time around. First, the box office for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is out to contend with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen achievement for being the biggest film of the summer. Second, it hopes to have the biggest box office of any of the film in the Harry Potter franchise. Even if it doesn't reach either mark, the Harry Potter box office should still be pretty healthy for the Half Blood Prince.

With the results on the midnight screenings yesterday, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, box office is already off to a fast start. According to early reports, Harry Potter box office for the midnight screenings approaching the record of $18 million, set by The Dark Knight last year. Just a start but it looks really to be a fast start.

Actually, Warner Brothers is releasing Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince at exactly the same exact time that the record setting Dark Knight was released last year. But as many expected, Harry Potter box office is expected to be more modest, yet perhaps record setting by other standings.

For past records, every single Harry Potter movie has made over $249 million at the box office. Half Blood Prince could be the first film in the franchise since Sorceror's Stone to make over $300 million in America. To become the biggest blockbuster of the series., it needs to make $317 million. Will the movie beat other series? We'll find out.

For the other goal for Harry Potter box office is to beat out Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen maybe for a long run. If it reaches more than $400, then it could top out Transformers who have garnered about $400 million, that might be a tall order for Half Blood Prince to follow, though it has much better reviews and a more passionate fanbase.

Will Transformer have a chance to gain? In addition, Transformers got an extra boost from IMAX screenings, whereas Half Blood Prince will take a few more weeks to get to IMAX, Transformers is still taking up IMAX screens. Yet Half Blood Prince will have a few more scenes in actual IMAX, and in 3D as well. Will Harry Potter's Half Blood Prince beat Transformers? Don't miss this magical and suspense movie..
